Liquids vs. Solids vs. Ninjas
In was recently introduced to the most greatest and funnest thing I've experienced in my short time...solid foods. Not only are they more filling than my usual liquid diet but they also double as some of the most bad ass flying projectiles I've seen when combined with a precisely timed swing of my arm aim at an ominously approaching spoonful of infant cereal. That moment right there, ladies and gents, trumps all the other spectacularly awkward parent moments I have achieved to create.
What are these moments, you ask? I'm talking about those moments where mom and dad get super upset because I have once again managed to fling my food onto the table, the wall, the ceiling, the wall ACROSS the room, mom, dad, AND myself in one single ultimate baby ninja move. And the best part is that I just unite my mystic baby ninja mind powers in a combo with a wickedly cute two-toothed baby smile and they forget all about it.
So to sum it all up, in a battle of liquids vs. solids, I would have to say that the solid warriors would win... but ultimately it is the baby ninja that prospers. (I love being a baby ninja!)

Happy Maker
All right, I know it's been a few days since I last wrote anything. Part of this is due to the fact that I haven't been able to master the art of writing not because I'm only 4 1/2 months old but only because mommy and daddy's crayons are still too big for my tiny-winy-itty-bitty baby hands.
Anyhow, during that time I discovered that grown ups get all crazy smiley every time I'm around (like I'm some kinda happy-maker or something!) which brings me to what I did while I was gone.
During my hiatus I compiled a group of snapshots to share some of my cute baby moments with you that everyone seems to go nuts about. Bon Appetit!

Ranfla Night
Finding myself bored from playing with my plastic tweety bird keychain with the giant plastic house keys and not yet having mastered the art of talking (or anything else for that matter), I lay on my tummy watching mommy fold the laundry while listening to the oldies station on pandora. Alas, she came over and picked me up and we glided to the bedroom all the while listening to her talk about how we needed to get ready because daddy was on his way home and was taking us out.
Daddy finally got home, excited as can be and rambling non-stop about something called a "ranfla". "Ranfla this" and "ranfla that" he would say and only just having turned four months old and not being experienced in very much I pondered, "What is 'ranfla'?"
As it turns out, after daddy's arrival and after a quick 5 minute drive while listening to Rosie and The Originals' "Angel Baby" we get to the world famous Bob's Big Boy on Riverside Dr. in Burbank, CA and that's where I realized what my daddy was talking about... CARS! But not just any old cars. I'm talking about some of the coolest and baddest old skool classics and hot rods to ever hit the asphalt and also what daddy referred to as Ranflas!
It was awesome! Cool cars and cool folks all over the place. I couldn't help but giggle every time mommy complained about the smell of car exhaust and how daddy would say he loved that same smell. Hilarious!
Only one drawback...I wish I were a little older so I wouldn't have fallen asleep after the first 20 minutes.
PS That's a shot of me and my old folks but a sick 51 Merc rolled by and caught my attention at that exact moment :D

A Day at Griffith Park
When the weather is cool I like to go up to Griffith Park to do a little hiking. This was a cool, breezy morning in early August. An overcast Los Angeles in the back ground.
